Super Eagles Set for Friendly Against Jordan, Chelle to Rotate Squad

Date:

Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle, is set to make several changes for tonight’s international friendly against Jordan, according to the newsmen.

Chelle had fielded a strong team in last week’s 2-1 victory over Iran’s Team Melli, but is now expected to give opportunities to fringe players.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will start following an injury to Udinese’s Maduka Okoye. Defenders Hull City’s Semi Ajayi and left-back Bruno Onyemaechi are unavailable due to personal reasons.

Zaidu Sanusi will fill in at left-back, while new addition Emmanuel Fernandez will replace Ajayi.

New invitees Philip Otele and Yira Collins Sor are expected to make their debuts.

The friendly will take place at Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya, Turkey, with kick-off scheduled for 6:30 pm Nigerian time.
