There are strong indications that the swearing-in ceremony for the commissioners-designate in Kwara State scheduled to hold today (Monday) has been postponed indefinitely, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.

It would be recalled that there was high hope and expectations that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will inaugurate his cabinet this week especially with the completion of the retreat which was held in Patigi.

Although, unconfirmed sources told this medium that the swearing-in has been postponed to Wednesday 11, December 2019 due to inadequate preparation because of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s tight schedules in the last few days.

Efforts made to confirm the new date proved abortive as the Governor’s Spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, did not respond to calls put across to him as at 10:07am today.
