Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Zita, has emerged as the new Head of House for Week Eight, unseating Koyin barely a day after he assumed the position.
Zita clinched the title on Monday after a highly competitive challenge against Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, and Kola, the same finalists from Sunday’s contest. She later picked Kola as her guest to enjoy the privileges of the HOH lounge.
This marks Zita’s second time displacing an interim HOH, having previously dethroned Doris in Week Four, when she chose Rooboy as her lounge partner.
Koyin, who had secured the role on Sunday by defeating Zita and four other housemates in a two-stage competition, selected Jason Jae as his lounge partner. His brief reign ended swiftly with Zita’s victory.
Earlier on Monday, Koyin had presented the weekly brief, unveiling the theme “Flying Solo.” The task requires housemates to reflect on self-discovery while collaborating in pairs to prepare cultural presentations on assigned Nigerian states. The outcome of the wager will determine their food allocation for the coming week.
Meanwhile, Faith was named the Most Influential Player, granting him automatic immunity from possible eviction
