TESCOM: 7, 241 Oyo Teachers, Non-Teaching Staff Write 2022 Promotion Exams

About 7, 241 teaching and non-teaching staff of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM are sitting for the 2022 promotion examination in the state.

According to a statement by the Chairman, TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu on Wednesday, Governor Seyi Makinde approved the conduct of promotion examinations for all categories of teaching and non-teaching staff of TESCOM for the year 2022.

The promotion interview is for eligible staff across the Ten Zones of the Commission in the State.

The conduct which is in progress commenced on Wednesday 6th of December, 2023 at Kisi, Ogbomosho, Oyo, Eruwa, Iseyin, Saki TESCOM zones

Pastor Akinade Alamu, while monitoring the exercise commended the governor for his commitment to workers’ welfare in the state, especially his investment in the education sector.

He urged TESCOM staff to reciprocate the gesture by being more committed to their duties and joining hands with the administration to make its education policies a success.

He also advised the promotion panels to be fair to the staff and not deny anyone promotion without a just course.
