Tinubu was never a minister, Osinbajo was commissioner when I was Speaker— Amaechi

Former Transportation Minister and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rotimi Amaechi, has further assured members of the party that he remained the most qualified person to become the candidate.

He stated this when he visited delegates from Kano State even as he paid Governor Abdullahi Ganduje a courtesy call.

He noted that he was more qualified than the APC national leader, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, noting that the former Lagos governor had never been a minister, and even as a lawmaker, Tinubu only served for a few months.

Amaechi equally noted that he was more qualified than Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, adding that while Osinbajo was a commissioner in Lagos, he was already a Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly.

He however sought for the supports of Kano delegates.

ROYAL NEWS gathered that Governor Ganduje who is a very strong ally of Tinubu, told Amaechi that he will know the position of the Kano delegates at the right time.
