United Bounce Back in Style

Date:

Manchester United returned to winning form on Monday night with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.

After a disappointing 1-1 draw against West Ham that stalled their climb up the table, United started brightly and took an early lead through captain Bruno Fernandes.

Wolves equalised before halftime, with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde finishing a well-worked team move to bring the hosts level.

United regained control after the break. Bryan Mbeumo restored their advantage, before Mason Mount and Fernandes added further goals to seal a dominant performance.

The result lifts Ruben Amorim’s side to sixth place on 25 points, sitting just behind Chelsea on goal difference.
