Why police arrested Hon. Dogowa enroute Saudi Arabia

The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Dogowa, has been arrested in connection with alleged Murder at Tudun Wada LGA office of New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) on Sunday after the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The lawmaker was arrested on his way to Saudi Arabia for Lesser Hajji on Tuesday, ROYAL NEWS reports.

According to a source, “He was arrested at the international wing of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport by the Department of State Services and later handed  over to the police.”

He added that, “As I speak with you, he is undergoing interrogation at the Criminal Investigation Department, Bompai Police Headquarters.

“We were informed this afternoon that one of the victims of the attack at Tudun Wada died at the hospital.”
