The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday described former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, as his elder brother.
Wike made the remark during the flag-off ceremony of the construction of Collector Road CN2 (Emmanuel I. Ogala Street), linking Arterial N16 (Yemi Osinbajo Way) to N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), including Road ILS 5 within the Katampe District of Abuja.
According to the minister, “Fayose is my elder brother, and I’m always happy anytime he comes to witness what his younger brother is doing.”
Both Wike and Fayose are prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and part of the G-5 Integrity Group, which opposed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s presidential bid during the 2023 general election.
