Speaking to journalists at the ICMA PRO-AM Open Golf Tournament in Ilorin on Saturday, he commended the championship, noting that it has met expectations with golfers from across Nigeria enjoying the four-day event.

He highlighted the club’s excellent ambiance and the well-maintained lush green course, which he sees as a key factor in attracting golfers nationwide.

Sagaya said: “The ambiance is fantastic, with golfers from Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Lagos in attendance. It’s a fantastic tournament and very impressive, showcasing the effective management of Ilorin Golf Club.”
