Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has advised her colleague, Regina Daniels, to walk away from her marriage if allegations of domestic violence against her husband, Ned Nwoko, are true.
In a post shared on Instagram, Jegede stated that violence in any form should never be tolerated, regardless of gender. She encouraged Regina to prioritize her mental health and well-being over societal pressure.
“Regina, you are still very young. If there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag,” Jegede wrote. “There is never sugarcoating for me as long as violence is involved — both for man and woman.”
The actress further urged Regina to focus on her peace of mind and the welfare of her children in making any decision concerning her marriage.
Jegede’s comments come amid growing public concern following online claims that Regina Daniels had accused her husband of physical abuse — an allegation that has since sparked widespread reactions on social media.
