Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has publicly confirmed that he has stopped impregnating women outside of marriage. The revelation came during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show in Benin City.
Speaking before his performance, 2Baba said he wanted to set the record straight. “I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you that I’m innocent,” he stated.
2Baba, a celebrated musician with a decades-long career, has been publicly known to have children with multiple women outside his marriage.
His first known relationship was with Sumbo Adeoye, with whom he has two sons, Zion and Nino. Their relationship ended around 2009 following revelations of his other affairs.
He also has three children with Pero Adeniyi, his second baby mama, born between 2006 and 2012.
From 2012 until their divorce in 2025, 2Baba was married to Annie Macaulay-Idibia, with whom he shares two daughters.
Recently, he welcomed a child with Natasha Osawaru, his new partner, whose relationship with the singer has generated public discussion.
2Baba’s confession comes amid ongoing public interest in his personal life, highlighting his decision to change past behaviours.
