NAUS Congratulates UNILORIN Student Union President-Elect

The National Association of University Students (NAUS), Kwara State Chapter, has congratulated Mr. Idris Ayomo Adelu on his election as President of the University of Ilorin Student Union.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Mr. Anafi Muftaudeen Alabi, NAUS also extended its congratulations to all newly elected members of the student union executive. The association commended the University of Ilorin management for conducting a transparent and credible electoral process.

“The University has once again demonstrated a strong commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law,” the statement read.

Mr. Anafi expressed confidence in Adelu’s ability to lead effectively, citing his vision and leadership qualities as assets that will benefit the student community. He emphasized the association’s readiness to support and collaborate with the new student leadership in advancing student welfare and academic excellence.

“We are optimistic that this new administration will contribute meaningfully to a vibrant university environment,” he added.

NAUS wished the president-elect and his executive team a successful tenure and urged them to remain focused on policies that promote inclusive development and student engagement.
