The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Amuda Alabi Seriki as the Executive Secretary of Ilorin Central Mosque.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the approval was conveyed through the Chairman of the Ilorin Central Mosque Committee and Danmadami of Ilorin, Alhaji Shehu Gafar.
The newly appointed Executive Secretary was a retired Permanent Secretary with the Kwara State Government.
Meanwhile, the Imam Gambari Reconstruction Committee and the entire people of the Balogun Gambari Ward have expressed their appreciation and profound gratitude to the Emir the honour accorded to them by appointing one of their prominent members as the Executive Secretary.
A retired Grand Khadi, Justice Abdullahi Idris Haroon, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday stressing that, “The appointment is another testimony of the love and recognition of His Royal Highness for our people. We beseech Allah to endow accomplished long life with more laudable achievements.”
He however prayed that Almighty Allah grant Alhaji Amuda Alabi Seriki a successful tenure in office.
