
United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has announced plans to host the final edition of its quarterly UBA Business Series for 2025, themed “Content that Converts: Building Influence and Driving Growth Through Strategic Marketing.”
The event, scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the UBA Head Office, Marina, Lagos, underscores the bank’s ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners with the tools and insights needed to succeed in today’s fast-evolving digital economy.
According to a statement from the bank, the session will feature leading industry experts and digital marketing strategists who will provide actionable guidance on creating compelling, high-impact content that drives engagement, strengthens customer loyalty, and delivers measurable business growth.
The statement listed notable panelists including Elozonam Ogbolu (Digital Creator and Actor), Dr. Chinonso Egemba (Aproko Doctor) (Digital Health Educator), Catherine Kamau (Kenyan Actress and Media Entrepreneur), Nasiru Lawal (Nasboi) (Content Creator), and Enioluwa Adeoluwa (Digital Influencer). These content leaders will share practical insights on building thriving online communities and transforming digital influence into tangible business success.
Speaking ahead of the event, Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head, Retail and Digital Banking, highlighted the importance of the content creation industry in the Nigerian economy.“Content is the new oil,” Fashola said. “At UBA, we recognise the digital influence and creative economy as a powerful growth engine that deserves attention and structured support.”
Also commenting, Alero Ladipo, UBA’s Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, reiterated the bank’s dedication to fostering business knowledge through its quarterly platform.

Launched as part of UBA’s Entrepreneurship Support Programme, the UBA Business Series provides quarterly training and mentorship for business owners across Africa, covering themes such as digital transformation, financial management, and brand positioning.
