The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Emir of Ilesha-Baruba, in Baruten Local Government Area, Prof. Halidu Abubakar Derekureku IV, on his 78th birthday anniversary.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the celebrant as an academic Icon and administrator par excellence who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state and humanity in general.
He stated this in a congratulatory message issued by his Press Secretary, Dr Abdulazeez Arowona, stressing that, “your reign has been peaceful and impactful to the people of Ilesha-Baruba and beyond.”
The Emir however applauded him for his unwavering commitments and dedication to the development of the state adding that “the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council heartily rejoice with Hiw Royal Highness, Alhaji Professor Halidu Abubakar Derekureku IV, on this auspicious occasion.”
He therefore prayed Almighty Allah to continue to strengthen the monarch for the good of the ancient town of Ilesha-Baruba, Kwara State and humanity in general.
