The Obajisun of Ayedun in Oke Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Dr. Olusegun Abayomi Rotimi, has extended his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the passing of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Solih
In a condolence message issued to journalists, Oba Olusegun described the death of the Chief Imam, who was also the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Ulama, as a great loss to Islam, Kwara State, and the nation as a whole.
The Obajisun noted that the late Chief Imam would be remembered for his love for the people and his exemplary leadership as the state’s leading Islamic cleric.
The monarch also commiserated with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the immediate family, wives, and the entire people of the state.
Oba Olusegun prayed that God rewards the Imam’s good deeds abundantly, forgives his shortcomings, and grants him eternal rest.
