American rapper and singer Latto has announced her retirement from music at the age of 27.
The Atlanta-born artiste revealed that her forthcoming album, scheduled for release on May 29, will be her final music project.
“5/29 My retirement album. Thank you for everything,” she wrote on X, sparking reactions and concern among fans.
Latto rose to fame after winning the first season of the reality TV series The Rap Game in 2016.
She gained wider recognition with her 2019 breakout single Bitch from da Souf, which earned double platinum certification from the RIAA and became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
