The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his 7th anniversary in office as Executive Governor of Kwara State.
This is contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Emir’s Spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari commended Governor AbdulRazaq for seven years of focused leadership, prudent management of resources, and commitment to the socio-economic development of Kwara State. He noted that the Governor’s administration has recorded significant progress in critical sectors, including education, health, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment.
The Emir described the Governor as a leader whose style of governance has restored public confidence in government and strengthened the bond between the people and the state.
He acknowledged that the administration’s investments in road construction, rural development, and human capital development reflect a government that prioritizes the welfare of citizens.
His Royal Highness also expressed appreciation for the Governor’s efforts in maintaining peace, unity, and security across the state, and for upholding the dignity and traditions of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.
On behalf of the Ilorin Emirate and the entire Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, the Emir prayed that Almighty Allah continue to grant Governor AbdulRazaq wisdom, good health, strength, and divine guidance as he leads the state into the next phase of development.
