Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, is dead.

Ambali, a Professor of Veterinary Medicine was the 9th Vice-Chancellor of the Ilorin, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.

A short message making round of social media reads:

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

With total submission to the will of Allah, we announce the death of the 9th Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, OON.

Details of the Janazah will be communicated as soon as they are made available by the family.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire University community the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
