The Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram, has called on Nigerians to support the federal government in its fight against insurgency .
ROYAL NEWS reports that Bubaram escaped death in the hands of some suspected boko Haram insurgents who killed four of his aides .
Sadly, he said he had to trek for about two hours in the bush for his safety during an attack that involved his convoy along Kaduna Zaria road.
The Emir who returned to his Palace in Potiskum, Yobe State from the hospital in Kaduna where he underwent medical check-up, thanked Almighty Allah for sparing his life and other members of his convoy who survived the attack.
The monarch was however saddened by the death of four of his aides as well as one that is still missing.
