AC Milan Sign Brighton defender Pervis Estupiñán on five-year deal

AC Milan have completed the signing of Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupiñán from Brighton & Hove Albion on a five-year contract, the club confirmed on Thursday.

The 27-year-old joins Milan following a disappointing domestic campaign in which the Serie A giants failed to qualify for European competition for the first time in a decade. Estupiñán becomes the latest addition under returning manager Massimiliano Allegri, who rejoined the club in May. Milan also recently signed veteran midfielder Luka Modrić from Real Madrid.

Estupiñán made 104 appearances for Brighton after joining from Villarreal in 2022. Brighton head coach Fabian Hürzeler praised the defender’s impact at the club.

“I have enjoyed working with Pervis and he has made a significant contribution during his time here,” said Hürzeler. “He now seeks a fresh challenge, and this move to Serie A provides that. We wish him all the best.”
