The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, has praised Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as a role model whose life reflects wisdom, vision, and exemplary leadership.
In a congratulatory message marking her 65th birthday, delivered through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, the monarch highlighted the First Lady’s integrity, intelligence, and steadfastness as values that have guided her service to the nation.
“The wife of the President captures the essence of truth, displays sincerity, candor, and practices what she preaches,” Oba Owoade said. “She makes decisions and accepts responsibility for her actions and her words.”
The Alaafin further described Senator Tinubu as a promise keeper committed to the welfare of others, noting that she embodies high moral standards in public service. He commended her for finding joy in serving people “without stealing public funds” and for maintaining clear priorities rooted in selfless service.
“You are an inspiration, and I hope you have many more years to keep up the good work,” the monarch added. “Your leadership has meant so much to this country, and your positive impact on citizens is deeply appreciated.”
