Stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have adopted the Renewed Hope Network (TRN) as a special purpose vehicle to mobilise nationwide support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The decision followed a strategic meeting between leaders of over 1,500 registered APC support groups and the TRN technical team led by Okpokwu Ogenyi and Tunji John Asaolu.
Deputy Director-General of the APC Support Groups Council, Ak Peters, disclosed that the initiative is being powered by former Zamfara State governor and current senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari, as a major platform for grassroots mobilisation.
According to Peters, the Renewed Hope Network has already begun deploying polling unit canvassers across the country as part of early preparations for the January 16, 2027 presidential election. He described the level of acceptance of the initiative among party supporters as “unprecedented.”
He added that the network has developed comprehensive strategies aimed at building a strong grassroots political structure capable of delivering victory for the APC in the next general election.
“In APC, we have over 3,500 registered support groups, out of which 1,500 have approved partnership with the Renewed Hope Network. We are confident that the remaining groups will join before Easter,” Peters said.
The stakeholders reiterated their commitment to ensuring that President Tinubu secures a second term and is sworn in again on May 29, 2027, expressing confidence in the mobilisation efforts spearheaded by the TRN.
