Arsenal are on the brink of finalising a move for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke in a deal worth just over £50 million, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.
The 23-year-old England international has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners, paving the way for his switch from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates Stadium.
An agreement in principle has reportedly been reached between the two London clubs, although minor details of the transfer are still being ironed out.
Madueke, who is currently representing Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup, made a substitute appearance in their 2-0 semi-final win over Brazilian side Fluminense, helping the Blues advance to the final of the tournament.
The former Tottenham Hotspur academy product joined Chelsea from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in January 2023. Since his arrival, he has featured in 92 matches for the Blues and scored 20 goals.
If completed, the move would represent a significant addition to Mikel Arteta’s attacking options as Arsenal continue to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
