Brighton & Hove Albion have officially completed the signing of Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, DAILY POST reports.
The 24-year-old joined the English Women’s Super League side on a free transfer in July, following her departure from French club Paris FC. Her arrival was slightly delayed due to her commitments with Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where she played a pivotal role in helping the Super Falcons secure a record-extending 10th title and was named the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper.
Nnadozie received a warm welcome on her first day at Brighton, with Nigerian flags, applause, and a standing ovation from teammates and staff. She is expected to assume the role of first-choice goalkeeper for the Seagulls in the upcoming season.
Brighton, managed by Dario Vidosic, will open their 2025/26 campaign at home against Aston Villa at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday, 7 September. The team finished fifth in the 2024/25 Women’s Super League season.
