Catholic priest kidnapped in Kaduna

The Parish Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna, St. Bernard, Idon Gida, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Rev. Fr. Abraham Kunat, has been kidnapped.

In a letter issued by Rev. Fr. Christian Okewu Emmanuel of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna (Office of the Chancellor) started, “Rev. Fr. Abraham Kunat, the Parish Priest of St. Bernard, Idon Gida, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State was abducted, Tuesday, 8th November 2022 at about 12:30pm.”

The statement explained that the incident took place at St. Mulumba, Kurmin Sara, Kachia Local Government Area where Fr. Kunat has been residing all along due to the insecurity situation.
