Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has alleged that security personnel at a prominent Ibiza nightclub attempted to kill him and his team during an altercation on Saturday night.
The incident reportedly occurred at Hi Ibiza, one of the island’s most popular nightlife venues. In an Instagram story shared in the early hours of Sunday, Davido accused the club’s security of launching a violent attack against him and his entourage.
“@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!! All of y’all goin down!!!” the singer wrote, alongside an image showing visibly aggressive bouncers.
Davido is currently on vacation in Ibiza with his manager Asa Asika and socialite Cubana Chief Priest. Prior to the alleged incident, he had been posting light-hearted photos and videos from the trip.
While the full circumstances surrounding the confrontation remain unclear, the 31-year-old artist has pledged to seek justice. As of the time of this report, Hi Ibiza has not issued an official response.
The allegations have sparked concern among fans and followers on social media, many of whom are demanding an investigation into the claims.
Davido, one of Africa’s most prominent musicians, is no stranger to global attention. However, incidents involving alleged violence at international venues could have broader diplomatic and legal implications if substantiated.
