El-Kanemi Warriors technical adviser Kabiru Dogo has said the team will continue to push for a higher finish in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) standings.
The Maiduguri-based side secured a 1–0 victory over Ikorodu City in their matchday 22 fixture on Sunday.
Muktar Ismail scored the decisive goal in the 89th minute to hand El-Kanemi all three points.
The win lifted El-Kanemi Warriors to ninth place on the NPFL table with 31 points.
Dogo said his players remain focused on improving their league position as the season progresses.
“We will keep fighting for the top,” he said. “The boys are playing as expected, and we want to maintain this winning momentum.”
