Kwara residence on Saturday came out massively to exercise their voting rights despite the naira swap challenges.

NAN reports that Polling Units 009, Ogidiri Shao, Moro Local Government area, voters have casted their votes and hanged around to monitor their votes.
One of the voters at Ogidiri, Pastor Akachukwu Okike, described the process as calm and peaceful.
” Everything is calm and stable. There is no any tension. Accreditation /Voting is on since 8.30am,” he said.
An APC Chieftain and Former Majority Leader, Kwara House of Assembly, Chief Wole Oke confirmed that there was 16 polling units in Shao.
Oke described the election process as smooth and calm,however expect a peaceful outcome across the country.
He expressed optimistic that his party APC will come out victorious after the whole exercise.
” APC will sweep Shao. We are APC here in Shao. We always come on top and we expect same today “he said.
He said he had a challenge with his accreditation process due to malfunctioning of Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BIVAS).
” It is not a serious problem because others are have been attended to. I will go back later and perform my right at polling unit 014,Isale Are.
Prince Ademola Adegbite, A PDP House of Assembly candidate, Oloru /Malete/ Ipaiye Constituency also described the process as very slow due to voters registration.
Adegbite commended the process and level of maturity demonstrated by INEC officials in been fair in their approach.
He said Shao ward polling unit 004 always witnessed a massive turnout on election days.
According to him, Shao residence are politically inclined and always embrace good candidates.
