Emir of Ilorin hails appointment of new DGs of NIA, DSS

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has congratulate Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed and Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi on their appointment as the new Directors-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Department of State Services (DSS) respectively.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari expressed confidence in the ability of the appointees to deliver on their mandates of ensuring efficient intelligence gathering and fostering peace and security of the country.

He added that with his outstanding performances in the Diplomatic Service, the new Director-General of NIA, Amb. Mohammed will perform excellently well stressing that Mr. Ajayi will also ensure adequate security that will keep the nation united.

While urging the duo of Amb. Mohammed and Mr. Ajayi to justify the confidence repose in them, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding them worthy of the appointments.

He therefore appeal to relevant security, governmental and non-governmental agencies to support them in the actualization of the tasks ahead of them even as he prays Almighty Allah to guide them in the discharge of their duties.
