The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Sen. Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe as Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The Emir described his appointment as well-deserved stressing that the ex-lawmaker will explore his expertise as a trained medical doctor to contribute significantly to the development of NHIA in line with the Federal Government Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday by the Emir’s spokesman,Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari said: “Dr. Oloriegbe will further assist the Federal Government to achieve President Tinubu’s goal of delivering quality healthcare to all Nigerians.”
While congratulating the appointee, the monarch further urged Dr. Oloriegbe to remain focused and committed towards ensuring that he justify the confidence reposed in him.
He therefore urged the entire workforce of NHIA as well as stakeholders in the health sector to support Dr. Oloriegbe in order to deliver in the tasks ahead of him even as he prayed for Almighty Allah’s guidance and protection for him and his team as he assumes office.
