Emir of Ilorin mourns late Ndeji of Lafiagi, Makama Yahaya

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji ( Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has described the death of the Ndeji of Lafiagi, Alhaji Ahmad Makama Yahaya, as a great loss to humanity.

The Emir expressed his sadness over the demise Alhaji Makama Yahaya who was also a former commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the the state but with total submission to the Will of Almighty Allah.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, commiserated with the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammad Kawu Kudu, the Lafiagi Emirate Council as well as the entire people of Edu Local Government Area over the great loss.

He also extended the sympathies of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council to His Royal Highness, Etsu Baba Kudu,families of the deceased, both immediate and extended, praying Almighty Allah to comfort them.

The Emir besieged Allah to grant the late Ndeji eternal rest, accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
