The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh on his emergence as the new Elerin of Erin-Ile in Oyun local government area of the state.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described his selection as the choice of Almighty Allah for the people of Erin-Ile stressing that, “Kings are made and ordained by God”.
According to the message: “The entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, heartily congratulate and rejoice with His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh on his selection and appointment as the Elerin of Erin-Ile by His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON.
“The entire monarchs rejoice with him as he becomes a member of the council. The council prays that his reign brings more growth and development to the people of Erin-Ile and Kwara State at large.”
While praying for the soul of late Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II (MFR) who died on 20th May 2023, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari urged the people of Erin-Ile home and abroad to rally round Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh in order to sustain the peaceful co-existence in the ancient town of Erin-Ile, Oyun Local Government Area and Kwara State ta large.
