Emir Sulu-Gambari fixes March 31 for Fidau prayer for late District Head

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has approved that the fidau prayer for the late District Head of Ballah, Alhaji Salman Olarongbe Abdulkadir, be held on Sunday 31st March 2024.

According to a statement issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the fidau will hold at the Palace of the Emir of Ilorin by 9am.

The Emir also ordered that daily gathering and condolences for the repose of the late traditional chief should take place at the Palace ahead of the fidau day.

The prayer would be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam-Solih OON to be assisted by other clerics in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.

Recalled that the late District Head of Ballah died on Tuesday night and was buried yesterday (Wednesday) according to Islamic rites.
