The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed sadness over the demise of a former National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Ambassador Sheikh Abdulazeez Uthman _fsi_ .
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a condolence message issued by his Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, described the incidence as a monumental loss to the Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general.
The monarch noted that the ex-IEDPU’s helmsman explored his position to advance the course of cultural preservation, promotion of traditional values as well as various developmental initiatives for the union.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however commiserated with the immediate and extended family members of the deceased, associates, friends, the leadership of IEDPU home and abroad as well as sympathisers over the colossal loss.
The Emir prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
