The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 71 suspects in a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts and black spots across the territory. The operation, conducted on September 8, covered Gwagwalada, Kubwa, Nyanya, Apo, Karmo, Maitama, Mabushi, Dawaki, Galadima, Asokoro, Karu, Jikwoyi, Mpape, Lokogoma, and Utako divisions.
Police said substances suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs were recovered during the exercise. The suspects are currently being screened, and those found culpable will face prosecution.
