Gov. AbdulRazaq drags Hon. Moshood Mustapha to court

The Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has dragged Hon. Moshood Mustapha, a former lawmaker and prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to court over alleged defamation.

Hon. Moshood Mustapha, according to sources will be arraigned alongside one Bolakale Mustapha on charges ranging from criminal defamation to conspiracy and incitement.

The case is yet to commence, it has already stirred significant concern among political watchers and civil society groups in the state.

The petition was authored by Mr. Fafoluyi Olayinka Solace, a Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. The petition reportedly accuses MM and his associate of making statements deemed injurious to the image of the state government.
