Gov Abdulrazaq hails AbdulSamad Rabiu at 64

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) sends hearty felicitations to the founder and chairman of the BUA Group Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu (CFR) on his 64th birthday on Sunday 4th August 2024.

Governor Abdulrazaq, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, said: “The administration and the people of Kwara State owe the businessman a debt of gratitude for not just his huge investments in the state but also for his friendship and philanthropy which has seen him support the state at different times.

“The Governor lists such support to include his impressive donations to the state during the COVID-19 pandemic and his donation of a N2.5bn oncology centre, which is under construction in the capital city Ilorin, among others.

“Of particular significance is the decision of Alhaji Rabiu’s BUA Group to key into the Federal Government’s tax initiative under which close to 300 kilometers of solid roads are being constructed in different parts of the state, including Bode Saadu/Kaiama/Kosubosu road, Lafiagi-Bacita road, Okuta-Bukuro road, and Eiyenkorin-Offa-Odo Otin road.

“He asks Allaah to continue to bless and preserve Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu and his family upon goodness.”
