Gov. El-Rufai stoned in Kaduna

The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai was on Monday pelted by angry youths and women around Tudun Wada area of Kaduna  metropolis, a stone throw from his official residents, indicating that all is not well between him and the electorates.
The Governor was the area on inspection of the demolished market around 5pm when the incident occurred, according to insider.
 Eyewitness said immediately upon sighting the Governor, the angry youths and women started throwing stones at him calling him “Barawo Barawo” meaning thief.
So serious that, gun shots were fired in the air by soldiers and police escorts attached to his motorcade, as the Governor and his entourage had to speed off for safety.
Recalled that El-Rufai, ordered the demolition of the market shops occupied by thousands of trades men, woman and youths recently, throwing hundreds of thousands out of their means of livelihood, after prior notice and litigations.
A video clips of the  incident has been sent round to some journalists including our correspondent in kaduna and environs for confirmation.
