I will continue to be father for all— Emir of Ilorin

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has restated his commitments to the growth and development of the people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond.

He also thanked his subjects for their loyalty, support and fervent prayers for him since his ascension to the throne as the 11th Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs 25 years ago.
This is contained in a ‘Thank You’ message to the people of Ilorin Emirate, friends, associates and well wishers issued by the spokesperson to the Emir, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, over the successful 25years coronation anniversary.
According to the statement, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR hereby expresses his delight and joy over the avalanche of goodwill messages, prayers and attendance of programmes marking his 25years coronation anniversary. Over the years, our communities have continued to witness tremendous growth and development both human and infrastructural.
“We have continued to witness peaceful co-existence and harmonious working relationship among our people with significant presence on the global map as a result of landmark achievements by our highly resourceful sons and daughters. We have being playing pivotal roles in issues of national interest, community development projects and humanitarian services to our people.
“I shall continue to be father to all in a bid to promoting love, unity and prosperity in the land. I thank President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as well as other prominent personalities, associations, youth and religious groups for their goodwill messages on the occasion.”
The emir therefore appealed to the people of Ilorin Emirate to be more dedicated to issues of collective interests and shun all acts capanle of truncating the peaceful atmosphere which we are enjoying in the state.
