The Danmasani of Ilorin, Engr Suleiman Yahaya Alapansanpa, FNSE, has congratulated the former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, on his appointment as the Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Monday, Engr Alapansanpa described the appointment as well-deserved considering the exciting resume of the former lawmaker.
Engr Alapansanpa, who is also the Chairman of the Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee, said that Dr Oloriegbe has always been an outstanding leader right from his school days, saying that he has always proven to be an asset everywhere he finds himself.
He particularly recalled the tenure of Dr Oloriegbe as a Senator of the Federal Republic, during which he displayed uncommon service delivery to the applause of his constituents and stakeholders at local and international levels.
Engr. Alapansanpa, who also congratulated the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, expressed the conviction that the former Majority Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly would give a very good account of himself in his new position as he has always done.
The community leader wished Dr Oloriegbe Allah’s guidance as he settles into his new role.
