Improved visa policy’ll engender sustainable bilateral relationship between Nigeria, Qatar– Minister

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has called for improved visa policy between Nigeria and Qatar for sustainable relationship and ease of doing business.

Sirika stated this when the Charge d’Affaires of Qatar, Ahmed Mohammed Y.E Al-Hor paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry on Monday, in Abuja.

Speaking on the benefits of the fostering sustained relationship between the two countries, the Minister noted that the rate of returns on investments in Nigeria is 34% and the highest in the world going by her population of over 200 million people.

According to the Sirika, Qatar is rich in oil and gas with other arears of investments just as Nigeria equally has infrastructures required for a smooth business operation.

He however said, the restrictions surrounding visa policy on both sides makes it difficult for the two countries to connect as expected.
