The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has called on members of the Kwankwasiyya movement and political supporters to remain committed to their shared vision.

Kwankwaso made the appeal on Monday while hosting thousands of supporters and political allies at his residence in Kano during the annual Sallah homage. He emphasized the importance of loyalty and active participation in advancing the movement’s goals.

In a post on his verified X handle, the former Kano State Governor thanked party stalwarts, social media supporters, and key stakeholders, including Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, federal and state lawmakers, former commissioners, and government officials.

He also acknowledged the presence of the NNPP national leadership, led by Ahmed Ajuji and Bishop Isaac Idahosa, as well as top figures from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano, including Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammad and Hon. Musa Ungogo.

Notable guests included political leaders Peter Obi, Seyi Makinde, and Seriake Dickson, whose attendance Kwankwaso said added vibrancy to the event. He described the Sallah homage as a longstanding Kwankwasiyya tradition and expressed appreciation for the overwhelming turnout.

Kwankwaso also commended entertainers and organisers, praising their contributions to the event’s success and the celebration of unity within the movement.
