
The Kwara State Muslim Council will on Thursday 4th September organise this year’s Maolidun Nabiyyi to mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), ROYAL NEWS has gathered.
The event which will hold at the Kwara State State (now George Inih Stadium) at 10am is expected to be attended by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji brahim Sulu-Gambari among other dignitaries.
A statement issued on Sunday by the Chairman Kwara State Muslim Council, Hon. Justice Salihu Olohutoyin Muhammad (rtd) disclosed that the keynote address would be delivered by the Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen while guest lectures are Sheikh Abdulkadir Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adaby and the Mudirul Markaz Agege, Shaykh Habeebullah Adam Al-Ilory OON.
He noted that, “Other eminent personalities to grace the event are: the Patron, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Omoola, the founder of KASMAG while the founder of ABDULRASAQ ABUBAKAR TOYIN University Oke-Ogba Ganmo, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Abubakar will be the Chief Launcher of the Occassion.”
The committee however extended the invitation to associations, Islamic groups and the general public to be part of the historic event aimed at celebrating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
