Kwara: Okegbala leprosy community, others get KAM Holding’s COVID-19 palliatives

The people of Oke-Igbala leprosy centre in the Irepodun local government area of Kwara state on Sunday thanked the Group Managing Director/CEO of KAM HOLDING, Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, for the gesture of food items donated to the community.

They added that the rice which was donated to the less privileged with go along  a long way in reducing the hardship caused by the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

Speaking shortly after the donation, Gabriel Faboro told journalists that they have living in abject poverty without assistance from anybody adding that the in that adding that food intervention was timely and will impact positively on the people of the community.

ROYAL NEWS reports that the communities visited by the are; Eleyin, Igbesi, Adigun, Olla, Oke-Oyi, Odo-Eku, Oponda-Isin, Iwo-Isin, Opega-Isin, Kajola -Owode Alla, Edidi and Atanda.

It would be recalled that the team had on Saturday visited Iji-Isin, Owu-Isin, Oba-Isin, Oke-Aba,  Iwo Odu-Ore and Pamo-Isin communities respectively.
