AUTHORITY of the Kwara State University, Malete has appointed Professor Binta Ajibola Sulyman as the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Head of its Campus located in Osi.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that the appointment, which was conveyed in a letter dated October 21, 2024, and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee said the appointment was based on recognition of her leadership qualities and wealth of experience.
Professor Binta Sulyman was until this appointment, the Head of Department of Fine and Applied Arts and Director of the Centre for Archives and Documentation.
Checks revealed that the varsity don is a professor in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts with specialisation in Art Education & Visual and Creative Arts.
She joined the service of Kwara State University in 2012 and rose to the rank of Professor in 2019.
