Late Ahmadu Bello’s daughter, Aisha dies at 75

The second daughter of the Sir Ahmadu Bello, the late Premier of Northern Nigeria and Sardauna of Sokoto, Hajia Aishat Ahmadu Bello, is dead.

She was aged 75, ROYAL NEWS has learnt.

Her son Hassan Danbaba confirmed the death on Friday, saying she died at a Dubai hospital after a brief illness.

Alhaji Danbaba said arrangements are being made to fly her remains from Dubai for burial in Sokoto.

Her father was the first and only Premier of Northern Nigeria from 1954 to 1966 when he was killed in a military coup.

The deceased was until her death the widow to the late Marafan Sokoto, Alhaji Ahmad Danbaba.
