Liverpool have officially announced their squad numbers for the upcoming 2025/26 season, revealing changes driven by summer arrivals and recent player departures.
In a statement published on the club’s website on Friday, the Reds confirmed new shirt numbers for their seven summer signings and internal changes for two existing players.
Florian Wirtz, signed this summer, has been handed the iconic No.7 jersey, previously worn by Luis DĂaz, who completed a move to Bayern Munich earlier this week. Fellow newcomer Milos Kerkez will wear No.6, while Jeremie Frimpong takes the No.30 shirt he wore at Bayer Leverkusen.
Hugo Ekitike has been allocated the No.22 shirt, while new goalkeepers Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman, and Armin Pecsi will wear No.25, No.28, and No.41 respectively.
In addition, young full-back Conor Bradley has changed his shirt number from No.84 to No.12, and midfielder Trey Nyoni has moved from No.98 to No.42.
These updates come as Liverpool continue their preparations for the new Premier League season under manager Arne Slot.
