The State Working Committee (SWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, led by former Speaker and state chairman of the party , Rt Hon. Babatunde Mohammed, joined other prominent dignitaries and political figures at the Janaza prayer for the late former Commissioner for Works and elder statesman, Alhaji Suleiman Kayode Yusuf.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that the prayer was held at his residence in the Fate area, Ilorin, where he was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
The SWC members present included the State Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Mohammed, State Secretary, Hon. Kayode Rahaman, Senatorial Chairman, Alhaji Owolabi Apesinola, State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, and other notable party leaders.

The Janaza prayer was led by the Imam Imole of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulhamid, with top party chieftains, former party chairmen, and influential political actors from across the state in attendance.
He was until his death, a close political ally to the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
