Muslim Media Group Mourns Ilorin Chief Imam

The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has expressed sympathy to the Emir of Ilorin, the people and government of Kwara State over the death of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh (Dr) Muhammad Bashir Imam Salihu (OON), who died on Monday.

In a condolence message signed by its National Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, the group described the late Chief Imam as a God-fearing Islamic scholar who dedicated his life to the service of Allah and humanity.

The group noted that the cleric’s passing represents a significant loss to the Muslim community, particularly in Ilorin, where he served with distinction for decades.

It commiserated with the immediate family of the late Chief Imam, praying for Allah’s protection and comfort for them at this difficult time.

The Muslim Media Watch Group also prayed that Almighty Allah grants the deceased total forgiveness and admits him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
